Day 312 - the parking garage

8 November 2011- The parking garage near work. Less than 1 year ago, filled to the brim with floodwater, some things are still broken.

Day 311- walk

7 November 2011- Stoplight buttons to walk vary all over the world. They also make very different noises., and can have very different symbols. This is an example of one of the Brisbane push to walk buttons. Brisbane is irritating in that most of the push to walk buttons don't actually make it possible any sooner, they just ensure that you get a signal. I miss Japan's count down options.

Day 310 - at the show

6 November 2011 - We went to the good food and wine show, and participated in one of the demonstration classes about Nespresso machines.

Day 309 - a cap

5 November 2011- I took a whole stack of pictures of computer debris this day, but the shot that appeals is this early one of a cappucino at a little hole in the wall cafe.

Day 308 - outside

4 November 2011- The view from our deck, one of the most comfortable areas of the house in hot weather- it catches breezes nicely.

Day 307- Sunset

3 November 2011- On the way to the gym (walking) I saw this amazing sunset. But it isn't so easy to capture with only an iphone 3 camera.

Day 306 - project + special effects

2 November 2011- The new project, a lacy scarf. I don't know what the settings were (you shake the phone for random) but I kind of like the solarised blurring. On a depressing note, it is the end of November as I post and the scarf is yet to be finished.

Day 305- fruit

1 November 2011- My iphone was set on black and white, otherwise this would be a much prettier picture

Day 304- Halloween lantern

31 October 2011- Halloween isn't really celebrated much in Australia but over the last 3 or 4 years it has been getting bigger. This year there were "american pumpkins"on sale in the supermarket (for an insane price) for people to buy. But no jack o lantern carving kits (those dull knives with orange handles). We even had a single trick or treater at our place. Must be the influence of the american tv and movies.

Day 303-

30 October 2011- Another crochet pumpkin and the wool for my next project, a lacy scarf.

Day 302- much better

29 October 2011- Once there was a pile of boxes here, now it is a single box and an assortment of pictures to be framed.

Day 301 - Accident

28 October 2011- A car hit a scooter right in front of where I wait for Greg at the end of the day. I didn't see the accident, but came by at the moment when the road was being half closed.

27 October 2011- There was an upset tummy in the house

26 October 2011- I had give myself a shot. At least the needle was small (ish)
