Day 132- Another family dinner
11 May 2012- Over to wellington point for another birthday dinner. In the back, the chicken is being carved.
Day 130- Fail
May 9 2012- I don't seem to have a picture for this day. So here is an old family photo
Day 128- in traffic
7 May 2012- Driving back on the last day of a public holiday- always a frustrating proposition. The slowdown to a crawl started at the southern end of the sunshine coast, and added an extra hour to the trip. We were pacing an RV in the other lane that was towing this trailer with a little roadster. There was a t least one wings and wheels event over the weekend, probably where this was returning from.
Day 127- We need a tripod!
6 May 2012- We drove down to visit my brother and sister-in-law in Hervey Bay, and went for an evening walk. This was the night of the just after full moon at perigee and it was beautiful. Hard to capture on a camera without a tripod though! Also, Greg and I took turns taking photos- I am fairly certain this is mine, but have the sneaking suspicion it is the same photo that he has posted on his blog!
Day 126- Tiny shells
5 May 2012- In the morning we went on what greg is referring to as the "beach walk of death". I don't think it was quite that extreme, although there were some interesting moments. Part of the beach/rocks had these areas with thousands of these tiny shells. It looked like sand from a distance.
Day 125- The old post office
4 May 2012- We wandered around the old center of Rockhampton- which still has some shops and some nice old buildings. The old Post Office appears to be getting a makeover into a retail hub- there was a nice bakery cafe on the ground floor.

This card was received 28 March 2012 from my sister, who is in Western Australia. She works for a Greenland company, hence the map of Greenland!

Day 124- on the road
3 May 2012- On the road to Rockhampton. This table and chair set is located in a green space next to a servo in a small town somewhere north of Gympie.

Day 122- look up!
1 May 2012 - McArthur Chambers in Brisbane, looking up towards the sky. This is where General McArthur had his headquarters during WWII.

Received 27 March 2012 from Finland. Another Inge Look card, with a lovely party (birthday?) scene. The sender likes australian animals and talks about the problems tasmanian devils are having (an epidemic of a strange disease is killing them). Day 120- Puzzle detail
29 April 2012 - We started this puzzle a couple of weeks ago, and I had to complete it, because Greg found it too difficult to look at the picture. It's an illustration by one of my favourite illustrators, Colin Thompson. He writes and illustrates really great children's picture books.
