Day 209- Souvenirs!

28 July 2011- Kit Kat is a popular chocolate bar in Japan because of its name. It sounds like a phrase meaning "study hard" or "good luck on exams" so it is a popular gift to give students studying for exams. Nestle release special edition flavoured Kit Kats every year- I remember a lemon cheescake white chocolate one. Last year we brought back a couple of flavours- including green tea- and these were devoured by other family members. This time we brought back many kinds- there was a souvenir pack at the airport. In this picture are- a dark choclate one (available at convenience stores), a cookies n cream (also available at conveneience stores), a strawberry something (also available at convenience stores), two varieties of green tea (one with cherry blossoms) from the airport, lychee with white chocolate (airport souvenir pack) and what appears to be wasabi (it's in hiragana I can read it) also from the airport. The wasabi is actually quite mild.
