Day 24- Superstitious
24 January 2013- I am now trying to finish this project quickly because I am rather superstitious about it. I bought it last year, while I was stimming for the worst IVF cycle in terms of egg production. I was working on it in October to relax during the cycle tht ended early and spectacularly badly. And guess what I have been doing to relax myself and destress in January. So this piece has some bad baby mojo. I don't want it. But i need to finish it. And then I will give it to someone who is either not superstitious, or who doesn't want kids. Worth noting that in December (when you know, I actually fell pregnant) I was working on other things. kind of reinforces the superstition. So, if you want this piece, drop me a line. Fair warning, I am using it to soak up the anger/sad.

Day 23- At the hospital
23 January 2013- I have been to this hospital 5 times, but never for a sadder reason (d & c). Since I last visited, there have been some changes
Day 21- survival
21 January 2013- I left one rose at work over the weekend, and it survived. I wish I could say it was a good sign, but we went to the doctor this afternoon and there was no heartbeat.
Day 19- APT
The Queensland Gellery and GOMA currently have the Asia-Pacific Triennial on. It's always interesting- here are some sushi trucks!
Day 18
18 January 2013- my desk at work. And before you ask, the brown glass bottles are from chocolate milk I get from a coffee place in milton- they are perfect as a vase and a water bottle (although not the same bottle)
Day 16 the alarm clock
16 January 2013- our new alarm clock/speaker- because the old one was apparently too irritating.

Day 13
13 January 2013 - It's too hard to choose- the lovely salad I had for lunch or the pineapple my mum GREW! in her backyard. Using the top of another pineapple.
Day 12- reminder
12 January 2013- A reminder to myself to see if this is available (at a reasonable price) on Kindle
Day 11
11 January 2013- one of the walls in our bedroom. The only other photo from this day is a lovely shot of my bruised arm.
Day 8- the Hobbit
8 January 2013- We went to see this in Gold Class. Mixed feelings- it is well done, but stretching a 200 pageish children's book to three movies? Lots of padding involved
Day 7
7 January 2013- Second trip to the ER in a week. fun times. That said, Both times they got me in quickly (the ER was very quiet), and while we had to sit around waiting for tests to come back, we were in the "fast track" waiting room in the back
Day 6
6 January 2013- I have been playing around with the settings on the hipstamatic app, and taking the same photo with different "film" settings. I really like how the photo of a water glass came out.
Daay 5- pancakes!
5 January 2013- Buckwheat pancakes! Buckwheat is not widely sold in Australia, so i was happy to find the mix at our local IGA
Day 4- Fail
4 January 2013- already! yes. In my defense, there are some medical issues that are distracting me at the moment. The image below is the only one I have on my system from this day, it is a background for my iPad
Day 3- waiting
3 January 2013- I got my hair cut, but the picture is terrible, so this one will have to do
Day 1 - Pelicans
1 January 2013- We took a drive to Wynnum/Manly and got a lot of photos of these birds
