Day 102- Gecko

11 April 2012- A gecko on our wall

Day 97- Blue tongue

6 April 2012- We went to my Mum's for the traditional Good Friday breakfast (traditional in my family) and this guy was hiding out near the pool.  It is a blue tongue lizard, I saw the tongue, but could not quite get a good shot of it.

Day 89- Spider

29 March 2012- I am not generally scared of spiders, but Australian ones, which can be huge and/or very dangerous do scare me.  This one is longer than my fingers, not that I was going to put them close enough to tell, and the web was near the deck entry.

9 December 2011- This rather large lizard lives under our front steps and enjoys sunning himself on the path.

Day 316- Roo!

12 November 2011- We were staying at this resort, the units were right off the 18th green (which would be much more interesting if I played golf) and late in the afternoon this roo decided to pay us a visit. If you look closely at her pouch, there are some feet visible, but the joey didn't come out. This is not a zoom shot, there were no fences, I was actually this close.
