Day 304- chocolate

30 October 2012- So a chocloate chain has finally opened in Brisbane and it took me nearly three months to get there.  The chocolate tapas plate is my favorite, but I think i preferred it when we had to drive an hour to have it.

Day 297- Mint Slice

23 October 2012- One of the awesome things about Australia- we have our own version of Thin Mints available year round in the grocery store- Mint Slice!  not so great for the waistline perhaps

Day 294- making fruitcake

20 October 2012- practising my food photography while making fruitcake.  These bits of dried fruit have been soaking in various fortified wines for about a month.

13 October 2012- We went out for breakfast.  The restaurant no longer does  my favourite dish, I had to settle for this.

Day 271- the aftermath

27 September 2012- A lunch and speech for work.  I was the audience, not the speaker.

Day 266- Sushi

22 September 2012- We tried out a newish sushi train place near us.  Very yummy

Day 265- Snake bitez

21 September 2012- It sounds so wrong, but tastes so good.

Day 262- A really good fish and chip shop

18 September 2012- Conveniently located near the fruit shop that sells Greg's water.

Day 258- A new way to serve sausages!

14 September 2012- We went to a new izakaya in town- one with a korean flavour.  We ordered these interesting sausages.

Day 253- Cheese on toast

9 September 2012- Grated parmesan on avocado on toast.  Just about to be melted

2 September 2012- a Smarties cookie at the coffe shop after the gym.  The filter on the iphone makes it look green, but it wasn't
