Day 27- water

27 January 2013- Brisbane was suffering from the after effects of a cyclone- lots and lots of rain.  Near our building there is a creek and a floodplain.  It doesn't usually look like this!

Received 6 August 2012 from my Mum, who took a long trip through Canada this year. That lake is an amazing colour!

Day 230- water

17 August 2012- I take a lot of photos of water glasses.  I do appreciate the importance of proper hydration, having dehydrated myself a few times.

Day 194- water

12 July 2012- We drink a lot of this water.  Anyone out there have a Soda Stram- is the carbonation similar?

7 July 2012- Eating lunch out, I was having a bit of fun with the striped tablecloth and the iphone

Day 127- We need a tripod!

6 May 2012- We drove down to visit my brother and sister-in-law in Hervey Bay, and went for an evening walk.  This was the night of the just after full moon at perigee and it was beautiful.  Hard to capture on a camera without a tripod though!  Also, Greg and I took turns taking photos- I am fairly certain this is mine, but have the sneaking suspicion it is the same photo that he has posted on his blog!

Day 66- water

6 March 2012 - My husband loves his sparkling water, but it isn't exactly the easiest (or cheapest option), so when we spot a good deal, we buy.  This box was at the little shopping centre where I was getting lunch and I had to haul it back to the car all by myself.

Day 49 - Morning on the bay

18 February 2012- Up very early to get a picture of the sunrise, thwarted again by the wall of cloud. all we got was a paltry orange glos from behind the storms.

Day 25- more rain

25 January 2012- I know there are more pictures from this day, but they not to be found, so here is the one and only one I have. Rain on the ground outside work, waiting for the taxi who never came. Never calling Yellow cabs in Brisbane again.

Received 13 October 2011 from the Netherlands. The heart is a cutout. The card was posted from a postcrossing meetup!

Postcard 144- Italy & Turkey

Received 19 September 2011. It is a picture of Istanbul, and was posted from Turkey, but the sender usually lives in Italy and the code generated is an italian one. Pretty sunset picture.

Day 256- Story Bridge

13 September 2011- I caught the ferry from the city to Bulimba. I always enjoy standing or sitting at the front and watching the river

Day 224 - Car rinse

13 August 2011- Greg decided to give the car a quick rinse- something that would have been totally inconceivable 12 months earlier! Taken with the Hipstamatic app, which gives it all a sunny nostalgia moment.

Day 223 - Water

12 August 2011- Fizzy water in a pretty glass from Ikea. Not much else I can say.
