Day 245- Gold Coast

1 September 2012- We went down to the beach for the day.  A view down from Broadbeach to Surfer's Paradise

Day 126- Tiny shells

5 May 2012- In the morning we went on what greg is referring to as the "beach walk of death".  I don't think it was quite that extreme, although there were some interesting moments.  Part of the beach/rocks had these areas with thousands of these tiny shells.  It looked like sand from a distance.

Day 106- Waterloo bay

15 April 2012- We went for a walk on Wellington Point- this is looking towards Brisbane, where there is a pretty big rain storm.  Where we were standing was sunny.

Day 100- the beach

9 April 2012- This Streets Beach in Southbank, an artificial beach and lagoon in the middle of Brisbane, along the river.  I have lived here for over a decade and not really used it, but now I send postcards it is a popular and different aspect of the city.  This pictrure was taken around 9:30, by 11 the pool and sands were packed- it's very popular.

Received 17 October 2011- A postcard from Hervey Bay, where my brother lives. I have walked down this pier.

Postcard 137- Queensland

Received 29 September 2011 from a little boy in Brisbane. The picture is of Agnes Water, which is a town about 6 or 7 hours drive up the coast from Brisbane (depends who is driving!)
