Day 219- flowers

6 August 2012- I love narcissus flowers- they smell so nice, and so fresh.  But buld flowers are few and far between in Brisbane, it just doesn't get cold enough for them here...

29 May 2012- A hipstamatic photo of some orange tulips.  A little blurry but the colours really pop

Day 147- Eurovision embroidery

26 May 2012- I needed something to do while watching Eurovision on SBS, so I cut up an old workshirt, found one of my vintage transfer patters and stitched this up

27 March 2012- I received a basket of roses for my birthday, and when they started drooping, pulled all the rose petals off and spread them out to dry

1 February 2012- A flower in the Australia day bouquet we picked up at coles. No idea, but it is probably native Australian fauna

Received 1 November 2011 from China. A lovely painting of a lotus.

Received 27 October 2011 from Germany. A lovely picture called ice melting.

Day 295- daisies?

22 October 2011- No idea what these really are (they may be daisies) but they look pretty good here.

Day 292- Jacaranda

19 October 2011- Playing around with the special effects. Of course, since jacaranda is most recognisable for its purple flowers, not something recognisable in this photo.
