Postcard 100- Japan

This card was received 3 April 2012 from Japan.  It shows some of the 1001 statues of Kannon (goddess of mercy) in the temple, Sanjusangendo.  It's in Kyoto, but is one of the temples I have never visited! Postcard id: JP-253823

Postcard 154 - Japan

Received 2 November 2011 from Japan. The postcard is of a shrine in Sendai, and is actually one that I have in my collection from my travels. It isn't the first collection duplicate (I have two or three others) but it is interesting. I got the card and thought that it looked familiar, then going through my collection I found the other. I think I have been to this shrine.

Received 18 October 2011- This is a picture of Kiyumizudera in Kyoto. I have visited a few times, but never in cherry blossom season. We may be going there in snow in a few weeks though...
