A project 365 blog- a photo every day for a year. Mixing it up a bit by tracking the postcards I receive as well!

Day 292- Jacaranda
19 October 2011- Playing around with the special effects. Of course, since jacaranda is most recognisable for its purple flowers, not something recognisable in this photo.
Day 290 - The protest schedule
17 Octobr 2011- For the first few weeks the Occupy Brisbane protesters were encamped around the corner from my office, but semi hidden as they were in a park located a story above the street on one side. I noticed one evening and got this picture of the camp schedule. So organised. So civilised. Not quite what one expects from a protest.
Day 289 - the approved picture
16 October 2011- I took a few photos before this one was allowed to meet the public. Enjoying a break during a local amateur singing afternoon. (we were the audience, not the singers)

Day 286 - The storm
13 October 2011- We drove down to the Gold Coast on the day of a big storm. About halfway down we stopped for a break ( it's an hour drive, but traffic had meant that we had been in the card for about an hours and halfway down). This picture shows some of the storm clouds. The little white dot on top of the hill is the main weather radar station for the area.
Day 285 Progress?
12 October 2011- The crochet monkey's head. At this point I realised that I had placed the ears and eyes in odd spots. Not moveable.
Day 284- Red
11 October 2011- A new IGA has opened near us, with an interesting deli selection and a separate bakery instore called bRed. The red table and chairs belong to the bakery (i think).
Day 283 - the beginnings
10 October 2011- Months previously, when I was contemplating crocheting an apple jacket, and buying supplies, we bought this crochet monkey. I learned to crochet, and then decided to take this on. Here is a close up of the head.
