Day 41 - night view

10 February 2012 - After work we walked into the CBD shopping areas (about 25-15 minute walk depending on whose office you start at and what route you take). We did a bit of essentials shopping (work clothes, new kettle) and then walked back to my work, where the car is (that is a 25 minute walk back). Along the way I took this picture of the river and the Kurilpa footbridge (that's the lighted poles).

Day 40- window seat

9 February 2012- The view from my desk at work. I am the only one who has a window view- my boss has his back to this direction and the person who shares the office with me faces the other way. How did I luck out? By not being the squeaky wheel! I was not impressed by my original seat- far from any window and next to the kitchen, but before I could express my dissatisfaction, the two assigned to this office could not agree who had the window. So neither got it. They were installed in the main office area (although with double the desk space) and the auditor and I got the room. We proceeded to have a nice -off about who would not get the window. I lost.

Day 39- the little table

8 February 2012- We no longer have a coffee table, rather two small stools from ikea, and now a childs desk on the other side. My little table has the remote, my kindle and a couple of hair clips

Day 38- the oncoming storm

7 February 2012- Waiting to be picked up near the train station. I could see the storm clouds in the distance. Amazing what different "film" settings in Hipstamatic can do though- this is the same position, same (iphone) camera, but very different feel.
