27 July 2011- On the Air train back from Brisbane airport. Astute readers may wonder why we are taking the train back from Brisbane when our flight left from the Gold Coast. When we booked, we were originally on direct Gold Coast to Tokyo flights, then Jetstar altered the schedule to include stopovers in Cairns. The one on the way back was about 7 hours.. After an hour and half (Cairns airport is tiny) we asked if there were any earlier flights and landed on a Brisbane one. Fantastic, except the car was at the gold coast!
