13 December 2011 - After the old tv died, we got a new one. The story is better than that. Greg started talking about getting a new tv about a year ago. I wasn't enthused as the one we had worked fine. Apparently it wasn't big enough. It was plenty big enough, I grew up with a dinky black and white tv (yes through the 80's), so am not entirely swayed by a flashy new tv. Anyway, one day I brought home one of the 12 litre water bottles that our office water cooler used. Empty of course, and said that the new tv would have to come out of the change stored in the bottle. Amazingly enough, when the old tv went, we had close to $500 in there. Despite dipping in for the occassional treat (or craft fair visit). This tv was slightly more than that, but it did mean we got LED instead of plasma.
