1 June 2012- The road in front of my work is a narrow one way street. The section right in front of my work is a no parking area (denoted by the single yellow line painted on the side of the road.) Because there are three backpacker hostels in the area, parking is ok a little further down the road and parking in the area is not always available: we have a steady stream of illegal parkers. Problem is, this is a road often used by delivery trucks and not infrequently by fire engines. While there are spates of ticketing by the council, thy can't come everyday. This is what sometimes happens when a vehicle cannot, doesn't want to, spare the parker. The other side of the road has a tall fence and a steep drop to the railway lines. It was a brand new car, that now has a lot of damage! If you are travelling in Australia, be aware that the single yellow line means no parking.
A project 365 blog- a photo every day for a year. Mixing it up a bit by tracking the postcards I receive as well!
