Day 294- making fruitcake

20 October 2012- practising my food photography while making fruitcake.  These bits of dried fruit have been soaking in various fortified wines for about a month.

Day 224- Cupcake

11 August 2012- An initial attempt at passionfruit cupcakes

Day 51 - more brownies

20 February 2012 - enjoying some of the brownies. These were lemon cheesecake brownies.

Day 50 - blurry brownies

19 February 2012- I made brownies. The iphone camera is a little blurry, but they were yummy

Day 43 baking

12 February 2012 - I bought a couple of punnets of blueberries earlier in the week and decided to use them up by making fresh blueberry muffins. Such a difference from frozen! There must have been a blueberry glut this year, they have been on special all month. This makes a nice change from the customary heart attack prices ($9.99 for 250 grams!)

Day 36- Cookie

5 February 2012- We have had this "gourmet" cookie mix since the food and wine show, I finally made it. The cookies are not bad, but make me remember my childhood oatmeal chocolate chip ones.

Day 29- fuzzy focus

29 January 2012- The peach cake, which turned out to be very nice. Quite surprised that we turned out to have a tube pan- sometimes the random impulse buys from Ikea are a good thing! The focus leaves something to be desired though...

Day 340- Biscuits

6 December 2011- The last of the chocolate biscuits

Day 337- Snickerdoodles

3 December 2011-Greg requested snickerdoodles for a work bake sale fundraising thing. I tried to make them christmassy with colored sugar, but the cinnamon kind of overrode the sparkle

Day 167 - Pink cupcakes

16 June 2011- Pink cupcakes. No reason but I wanted to use the little musk candies, so pink it was!

Day 94 - Cake

4 April 2011- Another food picture. We had too much jam in the house, so I made the chocolate and jam cake.
